FIREBALL CINNAMON WHISKEY
According to legend, Fireball originated during one of the most grim winters in the mid-1980s. In a fit of madness, a scientist came up with the perfect and permanent cure for frostbite – Fireball. Over the years, Fireball spread slowly but surely in Canada, like a well-kept secret, among bartenders. After a number of bottles were smuggled across the border into the United States, word began to spread and now the distillery is busy producing enough of the cinnamon-strong whiskey.
This cinnamon spiced whiskey needs no introduction. If you haven't tried Fireball yet, imagine you're face to face with a fire-breathing dragon that just finished a barrel of whiskey full of hot cinnamon. We suggest you drink Fireball as a shot and what happens next is up to you.
NICE TO KNOW
Legend has it that the recipe for Fireball was developed by Dr. McGillicuddy's in Canada for quick heating and preventing frostbite
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Sazerac was originally the name of a drink. Apothecary Antoine Peychaud, a Creole immigrant in New Orleans, mixed a drink based on brandy, absinthe and a pinch of bitter herbs for his friends. The drink was named sazerac. Somewhat later, during the middle of the 19th century, the drink spread and became popular in the city's "coffee houses", basically a bar, especially the Sazerac Coffee House. In 1869, Thomas H. Handy purchased the Sazerac Coffee House and began selling spirits under the Sazerac brand. The company is still family-owned today, and they own several distilleries in different countries.
